My Favorite Beauty YouTuber

Yap, you read it right. The post's title is "My Favorite Beauty YouTuber / Influencer". Yes, this is still me.
SO, I am starting this new segment in my blog that probably confusing to you guys because if you don't know it already; along my blogging years I never write any beauty-related post because I just feel like, 'nope, it's not me'. But since I randomly started watching beaty YouTuber on early 2016, I kinda intrigued to watch more and more and I found myself enjoyed it! I think 2016 was the year where I started to buy "serious" make up, because I was never that type of girl whom use many make up and skincare. When I was in college, everything I put in my face was day cream, powder, lipbalm + lipstick, and that's it. So does the skincare. So minimal. These youtubers, then become my "gods" and I kinda obsessed on everything they recommend and use. Haha! I guess a girl will always be a girl, in a matter of time.. Anyhow, I finally decided to start writing a post dedicated to my favorite "gurus" or the victims of my lost cellphone quotas (sigh), just for fun. It's always fun to try new things indeed.
I watch so many beauty YouTube channel, because you know they kind of excessive lately, thou I only have few favorites that I subscribed. Overall, the ladies I recommend here are sharing similar traits: pretty face, great explanation about make-up and skin care (nothing too short or too long and boring), nice editing-videos, always cutting the shits and go to the points, and giving wide variety of recommendations.
This pretty girl, is the first come to mind if you ask me who my favorite beauty youtuber is! She created her channel in January 2013 and gained more than 600,000 subscribers in the channel's first two years. Now she has million of subscribers and very well known in beauty YouTuber-industry. And she is also the first international YouTuber that I subscribe. Fun fact: I spent a lot of time watching Kathleen's videos during my internship life, especially those times when I was going back home from Siwa (where my internship took place)to Makassar. Hahaha #sorandom. Since the first time I watched her, I already love how pretty she always been yet how humble she seems. I love the way she talk, I found it so cute, bubbly, energetic and funny. I also love that sometimes she tell us more about her personal life, and to find that she's just a next-girl type somehow makes me like her even more.

Jaime Paige
Jaime Paige is a Canadian beauty YouTuber and started her channel in 2013. She's probably not as well known as Kathleen and Tati or Jaclyn Hill or Jeffree Star, but she's seriously growing to become my favorite. Seriously. At first, I don't really following all of her videos, because she sounds so stable and controlled, not really "entertaining" for my taste, but lately I find myself reaching out to her videos more often than I used to, especially whenever I wanted some perfect recommendations and comparisons of some products. Yes, Jamie is an expert on making a detailed videos! Her videos are special compared to other beauty YouTuber because it was very detailed and perfectly edited. Talking about a well-made video, Jamie is the champion. I love that she always put prices of every single products in her videos and the overall presentation of the videos always really pleasing to the eyes. I also love her boyfriend, oh God he's hot. Lol. And one thing I also note from Jamie, that she's very engaging with her subscribers, and always taking their requests and recommendations and made it into a video. So much love for Jamie, especially now because she's dyed her blonde hair into a sexy dark brunette that really suits her. And I always love to see her fashion style.

Who doesn't know Tati? If you are a beauty junkie, you must have heard her name. She is a god. A beauty master. Seriously. Tati is well-known for being one of the most outspoken voices (and influential) in the beauty world. A good review from her can make or break a product. She has almost 4 million Youtube subscribers in her channel, which is pretty major audience. She even made the hashtag #TatiApproved which means a big deal if you know what I mean. If you watch her, you'll know that everything about Tati, either it is make up, fashion, hair, outfits, shouts "GLAM" (and that's why I think the channel's name is so accurate). She is s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g. I always feel like Tati probably have all the make up in the world and she knows everything beauty related, no wonder why she's a Hollywood stylist back then! This glamorous lady always knows what to say and recommend and she's not hesitate to say "NO" and "EW" whenever a product doesn't come in her expectation. I love her honesty and I love the fact even thou she's glamorous and her make up screams "expensive", she actually love affordable make ups as well and featured them in her videos just as often as the high ends. Everything #TatiApproved I approve. *handsup*

Liah Yoo
Talking about skin care, I never thought I would listen wholeheartedly and learn so much from a Korean beauty influencer.
If you know me, I never into Korean waves. I never watch and listen to Korean entertainments, but skincare is a whole different thing. I started to try Korean products these year, and Liah Yoo is the best teacher among those perfect skin-Koreans. Liah speaks perfect English (it's not common for Korean people right?), and I love the fact that even thou she looks like she has amazing skin, she has same skin condition like me (sensitive, acne-prone skin). Because of that, I always enjoy everything that she recommend and share. She specializes in skincare review, even though I know she's also review make-ups, but her skincare knowledge is the "it" factor for me. Liah is very informative, she's not a doctor but I always feel like she's one! I admire how she always educated herself and sharing with us about everything skin-related, and how she refers the credits to dermatologist and medical journals so you'll know that everything she says is based on scientific facts. Her deep understanding of beauty and skincare coupled with her down-to-earth persona make her a well-loved beauty guru. If you notice her comment sections in her is always full of questions and praises from world-wide beauty junkies. If I have to become a dermatologist one day, I owe it to Liah. She made me realize how important it is to take care of our skin and to really know what we need (even thou I am nowhere near reaching my "perfect skin" just yet huhuhu).

Suhay Salim
Girllsss, shotout to my Indonesian bae! THIS GIRL. Lol. How could I describe Suhay? She's probably that beauty YouTuber I watch the most along 2017. This Indonesian girl is HILARIOUS. Despite her fierce face and make up, Suhay is the funniest beauty YouTuber I have ever watched. She's so damn funny! I don't know which one I enjoy the most, either its her recommendation or her crazy-"nyablak" personality. Beside looking for some "insights", I also tend to find Suhay for the sake of entertainment. Lol. She doesn't afraid to look ugly, she doesn't care what anyone has to say and always being her crazy-self in describing some products, and I also love how straight-forward she's always been when it comes to reviewing a product. I always get this feeling that Suhay and I probably will become best friends in real life.
